Attendance/Group Records


Groups of Any Size/Structure

Logos II easily tracks participation in classes or groups that people attend - even your Worship services! Whether or not you record attendance in the computer (and Logos does that fast and easy), enrolling people in groups lets you print lists, rosters and labels for those groups. You can also enter statistics for groups where no individual attendance is recorded. Plus, this flexible module adapts to any group size, with the option to define as many as four �levels�. You can also define groups that meet weekly or daily or sporadically


Fast Attendance Check-In

Logos lets you quickly check people in as they arrive, in just seconds for each individual or family. Attendance records are updated "on-the-fly" and you can quickly print customized name tags, with the option to also print a Parent Receipt when checking in children. A companion Check-Out Report is a great aid at the end of the session to manage the pick-up process.


Quick, Easy Enrollment/Attendance Entry

Logos provides multiple options for quickly enrolling people and then entering attendance data, either by keystrokes of by use of a scanner. For example, you can print Rosters and/or Name tags with barcodes to then enable quick scanning of attendance entries into Logos. You can even use remote hand-held scanners and then instantly import the data after the session. You even have the option to operate hosted, connecting your check-in terminals to the Internet (wi-fi or cable) rather than running network cabling through your buildings.


Small Group Management

You can easily define categories (Support, Covenant, Neighborhood, etc.) of groups, identify where and when the groups meet, and specify who leads and/or hosts each group. You can set maximum enrollment, track history and growth, and more! You can manage group participation by tracking attendance of members, visitors, and prospects. At any time you can email or mail to leaders and/or group members. Plus, with Ministry Connection, you can give your group leaders 24/7 access to their group's information.


Photo ID Cards

Print attractive, useful photo ID labels that can be laminated for use as cards or key fobs that can be scanned in recording attendance. They can also help group members and leaders quickly learn names.

Contribution Records


Complete Giving/Pledge System

Logos II provides a confidential, flexible, and reliable system for efficiently caring for all the giving activities of your people. You can also define one or more pledge campaigns and easily enter donor pledges. Speed, ease and accuracy are key features of every step in the process.


Unlimited Funds/Sub-Funds

You can define an unlimited number of funds and sub-funds - making the Contributions module as simple or as extensive as you need for recording giving to missions, organizations, and your ongoing operational funds.


Easy Contribution Entry

Logos II gives you a choice of user-friendly entry methods and the level of donor information you want to see or record while entering contributions.


Check Scanning/Check 21

Logos II works easily with scanners that read the MICR code imprinted on donor checks, ensuring accuracy in selecting donors. Logos also provides an easy import routine to update donor records with data from Check 21 remote deposit systems that transmit digital images of checks to your bank.


Online Giving Sync/Import

You can easily synchronize contributions made online using Logos Ministry Connection, a powerful Web-based application that links the Internet with your desktop. If using a third-party online giving application, Logos provides an import routine to update donor records.


Contribution Reports/Statements

Print giving analysis reports and/or donor statements for any date range, funds and donors that you select. The analysis reports provide leaders with information on giving totals, patterns and comparisons. The Statements routine can print a summary of each donor's giving, or add a detailed listing of individual transactions. Other options include adding a personalized letter and printing a separate breakout of $250 or more gifts


Pledge Tracking

Pledges can be recorded quickly for any date range and then compared with giving at any time. Plus, pledge reminder coupons or letters can be sent out periodically, updating donors with their progress toward fulfilling the commitment they made.


Deductible and Non-Deductible Funds

Both Deductible (Regular) and Non-deductible revenue can be recorded for your convenience. Non-deductible activity is automatically excluded from printing on donor statements unless you specifically ask for it to print - and then it prints separately, clearly labeled as not qualifying for donation credit.


Automatic Accounting Update

You can link Contributions totals directly to Logos Accounting. All Logos financial modules employ posting routines that are run after data entry has been completed and double-checked. (Posting updates data tables, creating permanent records that cannot be erased or modified; they can be voided if errors are discovered after posting.) When linked to Accounting, posting contributions automatically updates your Income and Asset accounts in General Ledger. This provides a secure audit trail, ensuring that the two programs are in agreement on the funds received.

Optional Add-Ons


Event Registration

This optional module lets you register individuals for events and record any associated fees and payments. You can then print a variety of useful reports (participant lists, balance due reports, statements, etc.). Plus, with Logos' powerful Ministry Connection Web application, people can register for events and pay any associated fees online.


User Reports/User-Edited Reports

Logos II User Reports is a multi-faceted add-on that lets you -

  • Create simple reports from data in the Family and Member files;
  • Edit the appearance and contents of standard Logos II reports;
  • Import user-edited reports that you download from the Logos Members Only web site;
  • Quick Merge data from the current person's record into a pre-defined letter format.


Mail Manager

Logos Mail Manager automates your mailing procedures. Logos Mail Manager easily CASS Certifies your addresses, Presorts your mailings to the Postal Service's most efficient sequence possible, and automates the preparation of your mailing so that you qualify for the lowest postal rates available - avoiding the "non-machinable" surcharge for all certified addresses! Mail Manager also prins all the forms you need to submit to the Post Office and it lets you send your addresses for National Change of Address updating, reducing the costs for undeliverable mail.


Phone Tree / Phonevite

PhoneTree® and Phonevite® are telephone messaging systems that easily interface with Logos II, delivering timely messages to selected individuals with the click of a button. No more hassles with busy signals or answering machines - PhoneTree and Phonevite do it all, including email and text-messaging. Logos lets you choose the system that best fits your needs.


Global Backup / Offsite Backup Storage

Logos Global Backup allows you to define a schedule for automatically backing up your invaluable data, with the additional option to transmit the backups via the Internet to a secure offsite server location - either your own or one managed for you by Logos. Logos Global Backup can not only backup your Church Management data, it can backup data from all your Logos programs at the same time, or on different schedules that you define.

Administrative / User Tools


Extensive Access Security

All Logos programs are password-protected, allowing the System Administrator to quickly assign each user a unique level of program access. Access levels can be set to block a person from an entire module (e.g., Contributions, Payroll, etc.), one or more particular menus (e.g., System, Utilities), or specific routines on any menu. You can even set Read Only or No Access to certain areas within Preferences and selected Data Entry routines.


Custom Settings to Fit User

Each Logos user can define numerous settings for how he or she wants program features to work. Window sizes and search grid options can be easily modified and these changes are stored with that user�s login. Thus, on any computer on a network, a person can work with his or her own settings.


Preview/Print Export Any Report

All reports let you preview before printing, send the report to any printer, to a document or to a spreadsheet. You can also create a PDF or HTML file from the report, or export the report data to any of various data formats.


Backup/Restore Data

Logos provides a quick, easy routine to safely backup data files, both as a precaution before updating multiple files and as a protection against system problems. If it ever becomes necessary, the companion Restore routine quickly returns a backup into your active directory.


Multiple Data Sets

You can define one or more additional data sets in order to manage separate "child" organizations (school, camp, cemetery, etc.) that fall under your "parent" organization. This is all done with one program license and with no worries about data or settings for one organization getting mixed up with records for another.

Logos Web Hosting is a popular service that offers our full-featured desktop applications with the convenience of 24/7 Internet access. From home or office or on-the-road, your staff and volunteers can efficiently work in Logos programs at times and places convenient to them.
